Do you need a change from the traditional hamburger? If so, your family and friends will love the tasty flavor of these pork sliders. Pork meat, especially boneless pork roast or boneless pork leg, creates a tender and tasty fusion that doesn’t require a lot of spices. You can top it with vegetables, cheese, mayo, guacamole or your favorite spread. These pork sliders are so easy to make, they’re an excellent addition to a barbecue.
To start, place pork in the 4-quart Dutch Oven, along with water and barbecue sauce. Cover and cook with the Redi-Temp® valve open at medium-high temperature until it whistles (about 4 minutes). Then reduce the temperature, and when the valve stops whistling, close it and cook for another 16 minutes.
While cooking, prepare a cabbage and pineapple salad to complement the burgers by adding shredded cabbage, sliced pineapple, red peppers and red onion, light mayonnaise, a little half & half (optional) and salt and black pepper to taste, to a 3-quart Mixing Bowl.
Once the pork is ready, shred it with the help of two forks. Layer your burger buns with the pork and the cabbage salad. A couple of jalapeño slices will give it a special kick. If you like it spicy, give it a try!
Grilled Vegetable Panini
What makes this recipe so tasty is that when vegetables are cooked on the grill, they produce a smoky, caramelized flavor. For this recipe, we use peppers and zucchini, but you can use any of your favorite vegetables. This grilled vegetable Panini is a healthy option, not just for barbecues, but for lunch or dinner too. And it can be prepared in less than 30 minutes!
Add tomato, onion and vinegar to the 2-Quart Mixing Bowl and marinate for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, add the other vegetables to the 5-Quart Mixing Bowl and combine with sesame oil, salt and pepper to taste.
Preheat the Double Griddle at medium-high temperature for 3 minutes. Reduce the temperature to low and brown the peppers and zucchini for 3 minutes on each side.
In a 1-quart Mixing Bowl, stir cheese with a little pesto sauce and spread this mixture on each slice of bread. Then add the tomato, onion and other vegetables, in the same order, to form a sandwich, which you will grill on the pre-heated Round Grill, toasting each side for 2 minutes. That’s it!
Chicken Wings in Habanero‐Pineapple Sauce
With this recipe for chicken wings in pineapple and habanero sauce, you will get the perfect balance of sweet and sour, with just a hint of spice. These wings are the perfect snack for summer or an easy dinner. It’s time to give in to your cravings!
This time we are going to cook our wings using your Royal Prestige Novel® Paella Pan! Do you know how to make sure your pan is pre-heated to the right temperature? Just sprinkle a few drops of water, and if they move around the surface without evaporating, it means that it’s ready to start cooking. Now add the wings and sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder and paprika over the top.
After cooking for 3 minutes and stirring constantly, add vegetable broth and cover the Paella Pan with the Redi-Temp® valve open and cook at the same heat until it whistles (about 5 minutes). Reduce heat to low, close the valve, and cook for 3 more minutes.
Meanwhile, let’s make the pineapple and habanero sauce! Place red pepper, habanero pepper, garlic cloves and onion to a 12‐inch Gourmet Skillet and cook at medium-high for 3 minutes. Then add in a half-cup of pineapple juice, diced pineapples, soy sauce and liquid smoke and cook for 35 more seconds. Remove from stove and let it cool down.
Carefully pour the ingredients from the skillet into the Royal Prestige® Blender with a little more pineapple juice, brown sugar and blend for 30 seconds.
Transfer the sauce back into the skillet and add cornstarch. Grab your Whisk and stir for 2 minutes to thicken the sauce. Then add the sauce to the Paella Pan, covering all the wings before you place pineapple chunks on top. After letting it simmer for 2 minutes, place the Paella Pan in the oven (at 400 F) without a cover and bake for 10 minutes. Now, go and impress your loved ones with the best chicken wings they’ve ever tasted!
Sweet and Sour Tuna Kabobs
These grilled tuna kebabs are tasty and sweet and with tons of flavor to please your palate, and this is an original and healthy way to prepare them. For this recipe, we will use pineapple and onion, but you can also add your favorite vegetables such as peppers or zucchini.
In the 5‐quart Mixing Bowl, season ahi tuna with chili sauce and parsley. Cover and marinate for 15 minutes in the refrigerator.
While you wait, add some orange juice, rice vinegar, sesame oil and sugar to your 1‐quart Mixing Bowl and mix well to prepare a dressing. Then shred some red and white cabbage and carrots with the Royal Prestige® Salad Machine and mix them with mandarin wedges and your salad dressing in your 3‐quart Mixing Bowl. Combine well, cover and let sit in the refrigerator.
Prepare the kebabs by alternately placing on the skewers marinated tuna, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, pineapple and onion. Preheat your Round Grill at medium‐high and spray with cooking oil, and place the kebabs and cook for 8 minutes, turning them over every 2 minutes. Do the same with each skewer.
Serve with the Asian coleslaw and give a special touch with sesame seeds.
